This session for undergraduate medical students will cover a range of infections such as impetigo, cellulitis, erysipelas, abscesses, and necrotizing fasciitis. It will focus on their clinical presentations, common causative organisms, diagnostic approaches, and principles of management including appropriate antibiotic use and surgical interventions. Emphasis will be placed on recognizing red flag signs and complications like sepsis or tissue necrosis. The session aims to enhance understanding of timely diagnosis and treatment strategies, with key clinical implications for effective patient care and antimicrobial stewardship.
